On Saturday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi accused the United States of obstructing ceasefire efforts in Gaza, calling for an end to the Israeli bombing of Gaza.
He pointed out that "it is expected that the heads of Islamic countries will reach a decisive decision on the issue of Palestine, which is the most important issue in the world currently."
The Iranian President stressed that "this decision will be fully implemented. This field is no longer a field for speech and declaring positions, but rather it must be a field for action."
According to the Iranian News Agency, Raisi's statements came before his departure for Riyadh to participate in an Arab-Islamic summit to discuss the situation in Gaza.
The Iranian president said, "America announces in its statements that it wants the war not to expand, and it sent messages to Iran and some countries, but this statement is not consistent with its actions."
He added: "The war machine in Gaza is in America's hands, but it is obstructing the ceasefire in Gaza."
