Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent a message to Pope Leo XIV, expressing his appreciation for the moral stance taken by the leader of the Catholic Church regarding military aggression against Iran, according to the Fars News Agency.
Moreover, Pezeshkian stated that the "destructive approach" of the United States and Israel, along with their "illegitimate" attacks, are directed not only at Iran but also pose a threat to the rule of law on the international stage, human values, and the teachings of divine religions.
The Iranian President added that the costs and consequences of this "dangerous approach" ultimately fall upon the entire international community.
