Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in the Chinese city of Tianjin to participate in the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.
According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, President Pezeshkian departed Tehran earlier today, leading a high-level political and economic delegation at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
His agenda during the visit includes delivering a speech at the SCO Summit, holding a meeting with President Xi, and conducting talks with other leaders and officials on the sidelines of the gathering.
Before his departure, President Pezeshkian stated that the trip aims to strengthen relations with SCO member states, describing the summit as an important opportunity to promote multilateralism and expand regional cooperation.
