Mohammad Baqer Zolfaghari, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, affirmed that Tehran’s response to Israel is imminent and that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s red lines will not be violated.
Zolghadiari wrote on social media: “The unity of the battlefields has created a security chain to defend the region,” adding, “Lebanon is our soul, and the red lines of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be violated.”
Israeli occupation forces attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Lebanese capital, resulting in the deaths of three people and several injuries, according to initial reports. Lebanese media outlets reported that several missiles struck Al-Ghadir Square in the Beirut suburbs.
Al-Mayadeen news channel also reported that Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike targeting a five-story building in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
