Iranian FM Says Negotiators Face Double Game in Vienna

At the Munich Security Conference, Amir Abdollalhian gave a speech. He stated that this will occur if the opposing parties are willing to make the appropriate political decisions. However, Iranian negotiators in Vienna, according to Amir Abdollahian, are up against a double game from the Western side over terminology and time.

Amir Abdollahian talked at the Munich Security Conference about a variety of topics, including the situation in Yemen and Afghanistan.

He described the situation in Yemen as a "human tragedy."

The Iranian foreign minister stated that ending the Yemen crisis requires respecting the Yemeni people's will to decide their fate, lifting the country's economic blockade, ending hostilities, and beginning discussions between Yemeni factions.

He stated that Iran supports the creation of peace in Yemen and will make every effort to achieve this goal.

Amir Abdollahian blamed Afghanistan's current state on the US occupation of the country.

To achieve peace in Afghanistan, the top Iranian official added, an inclusive government must be formed.

He also pleaded with the world community to help Iran send humanitarian aid to Afghans.

Amir Abdollahian also addressed the Palestinian issue. He stated that Iran believes the matter may be settled through a vote in which Palestinians of all faiths, including Christians, Muslims, and Jews, can select their fate.

Concerns about tensions between Ukraine and Russia were highlighted by Amir Abdollahian Alsi. Iran has positive relations with both Russia and Ukraine, according to him, and he encourages the two nations to work out their disagreements through dialogue.
