Iranian Foreign Minister (FM) Abbas Araghchi has called for a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian cause.
Moreover, Araghchi stated that Palestine is not merely a regional or humanitarian issue, but the cornerstone of sustainable security in West Asia and a test of the international community's commitment to international law, according to the Mehr News Agency.
Araghchi alsodescribed the current situation in Gaza as transcending the scope of traditional military conflict, noting that the mass killing of civilians and the destruction of vital infrastructure constitute a violation of international law.
Furthermore, Iranian FM warned that continued impunity for Israel undermines global legal norms and threatens to replace the rule of law with "brute force," posing serious threats to peace and stability that extend far beyond the borders of Palestine.
