Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Zayani discussed regional and international developments during a phone call he received, Wednesday, from his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the two sides also discussed efforts to maintain regional security and stability.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that US President Donald Trump's foreign policy theory is based on peace through strength.
Araghchi added that "Iran's enemies have shifted their methods of pressure towards economic warfare after failing to achieve their goals through military means, targeting the livelihoods of Iranian citizens," according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
He said that the adversaries resorted to sanctions and economic pressure as soon as they realized the resilience of the Iranian people. He added that in the early days of the twelve-day war, they were sending messages saying, "Let's negotiate so that we can end the war."
