Iranian Foreign Minister (FM) Abbas Araghchi stated on Sunday that his country welcomes any regional initiative aimed at achieving a "just end" to the ongoing war, according to the Iranian news agency "Fars."

In his remarks today, Araghchi emphasized that while Iran is open to peace efforts, any resolution is contingent upon guarantees that the conflict will not be repeated and the payment of reparations—a clear reference to compensation that Tehran may demand.

Iranian FM also highlighted the continuation of diplomatic communications between Iran and its neighbors, specifically Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the Sultanate of Oman.

Addressing the strategic situation in the Strait of Hormuz, Araghchi asserted that the waterway remains open to all nations except for vessels belonging to the United States and its allies.

Furthermore, Araghchi sought to project domestic stability, stating that the situation within Iran is secure and that there are no rifts within government institutions or the military.

He added that the Supreme Leader is in good health and remains in full control of the nation's affairs.
