The US military campaign against Iran is costing the Pentagon an estimated $890 million per day as the operation enters its second week, according to research estimates.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies assessed that the first 100 hours of the conflict cost about $3.7 billion, equivalent to roughly $891 million daily.

The analysis indicates that air operations account for about $30 million per day, while naval deployments add another $15 million in daily expenses for the Pentagon.

The estimates focus primarily on direct military operational costs tied to the campaign.

However, the figures do not include wider global economic losses resulting from disruptions to maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical energy corridor that handles a significant share of global oil shipments.

The rising costs highlight the financial scale of the US-led military campaign as operations against Iran continue to expand.
