Iran unveiled the fourth generation of its ballistic missile (Khorramshahr) under the name (Khyber), which has a range of 2,000 kilometers with a warhead weighing 1,500 kilograms, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
Iran has expanded its missile program, especially its ballistic missiles, despite the opposition of the United States and the expressions of concern by European countries. Tehran says the program is purely defensive and aimed at deterrence.
"The newest Iranian ballistic missile and the latest products of the Aerospace Industries Organization of the Ministry of Defense were unveiled today in a ceremony attended by the Minister of Defense," IRNA said.
