Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the 37th wave of missiles launched toward Israel was the “most intense and heaviest” since the start of the ongoing war between the two sides.

In a statement, the force said the barrage formed part of a continuing campaign against Israeli targets.

Israeli media reported that cluster bombs from a fragmentation missile allegedly launched from Iran fell south of Tel Aviv, while shrapnel was also reported near a hospital and a military base in central Israel.

There were no immediate official reports on casualties or the extent of damage.

Israeli media also reported an increase in the number of Iranian missiles launched over the past 24 hours, indicating a further escalation in the exchange of attacks between the two countries.

The developments come as the confrontation between Iran and Israel continues to intensify, raising concerns about a broader regional conflict.
