Iranian Foreign Minister (FM) Abbas Araghchi and Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi reaffirmed, during a phone call today, the importance of continued consultation and consensus among Islamic nations to counter divisive forces and chaos in the region.
According to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA), the two ministers discussed bilateral relations between their countries, alongside the latest regional and international developments.
During the call, Araghchi expressed deep concern regarding recent developments in Southern Yemen.
He emphasized the necessity of collective efforts and cooperation among regional states to preserve Yemen's territorial integrity and to consolidate stability within the country.
The discussions also covered a wide range of geopolitical issues, with both ministers reviewing the evolving situations in Western Asia, the Mediterranean, and the Horn of Africa.
