The head of the Iranian President’s office, Mahmoud Vaezi, announced today, Friday, his country's refusal to negotiate again the nuclear agreement.

According to the Iranian news agency (IRNA), Vaezi said: "We hope that Biden (US President Joe Biden) will not practice the same policy that the previous administration did."

He noted that "Donald Trump's policy inflicted enormous damage on the United States, as it aroused Iranian hatred towards it."

He added that "Tehran is not interested in what is happening in the United States, but with regard to the nuclear agreement, it depends on the extent of the implementation of their obligations.”

"If they are sincere in fulfilling their obligations, the situation and circumstances will change," he stressed.

He manifested that "the nuclear agreement was negotiated before and there will be no new negotiation on it."

"It is up to them whether or not they want to return to the nuclear agreement, and what we care about is to cancel the embargo measures against the Iranian people."

Anthony Blinken, the candidate of Biden for the position of Secretary of State, had announced that Washington intends to include the Gulf states and Israel in any nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
