The Iranian negotiating team stated, in remarks reported by the Fars News Agency, that Iran has not yet sent its response to the latest US draft proposal, indicating that the proposal is still under review within decision-making circles in Tehran.
The team added that any potential memorandum of understanding with the United States would undergo four stages if an agreement is reached, without disclosing the details or nature of these stages.
In a related context, the agency quoted a member of the Iranian negotiating team confirming that his country "will not enter into any agreement in which Lebanon is ignored," pointing to the linking of certain regional files to the negotiation process.
These statements come amid ongoing indirect talks between Tehran and Washington, against the backdrop of diverging positions regarding the terms of a final agreement and issues of regional influence.
