Iranian authorities arrest more than 20 people suspected of involvement in the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, The New York Times reported.
The New York Times, citing Iranian officials, added: Intelligence officers and military officials are among those arrested.
The Hamas movement announced earlier that the head of its political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, had been assassinated in the Iranian capital, Tehran, following a raid on his residence after his participation in the inauguration celebration of the new Iranian president.
