The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has affirmed that it will not participate in any forced evictions of Palestinians from Gaza. The IOM's decision comes amid growing concerns about potential displacement in the conflict-ridden region.

According to AFP, IOM emphasized its commitment to humanitarian principles and human rights, clarifying that any involvement would only be in support of voluntary and safe movements.

"Under no circumstances will we participate in forced evictions or any actions that compromise the dignity and rights of the Palestinian people," the IOM Director General, Amy Pope stated.

The announcement follows international critical debates about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, where escalating tensions have raised fears of mass displacements.

Pope reaffirmed IOM's dedication to assisting displaced communities worldwide, stressing the importance of ensuring safety, dignity, and voluntary choices in any relocation efforts.

The agency called on all parties to prioritize the protection of civilians and urged the international community to support diplomatic solutions to the ongoing crisis.
