Investment Minister Meets with Evolve and Stonex to Discuss Expansion Plans in Egypt’s Gold Market

Engineer Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and International Trade, met with a delegation from Evolve Holding, which invests in precious metals and gold in Egypt, including Dr. Samah Targoman, CEO of Evolve Holding, and a delegation from Stonex, Evolve’s partner, led by Managing Director Osho Mann, to discuss their investment plans in Egypt and ways to expand them in the coming period. The meeting was also attended by Ghadeh Nour, Assistant Minister of Investment for Investment Promotion and Government Offerings.

The Minister welcomed the delegations, emphasizing the ministry’s support for companies seeking to invest or increase their investments in Egypt. He highlighted the significance of the gold market in Egypt, its growth trajectory, and its contribution to Egypt’s exports, which reached $6 billion.

During the meeting, Evolve, in partnership with Stonex, presented its expansion plans in the Egyptian market, including investment in precious metals and gold, trading of precious metals, logistics services, digital products, development of precious metals marketplaces, and non-banking financial products backed by gold.

The delegations noted that the volume of gold trade and circulation in Egypt is substantial, reaching around $5 billion, and stated that their goal is to expand in the Egyptian market and transform Egypt into a regional and international hub for gold exports, leveraging its strategic geographic location to reach global markets.
