On the sidelines of Cairo ICT 2025, Sada Elbalad English (SEE) sat down with Prasanna Venkatesh Srinivasan, Associate Director at ManageEngine, to discuss the company’s expanding presence in Egypt, the rising cyber threats in the region, and the growing demand for AI-driven IT management solutions.
ManageEngine is participating in Cairo ICT for the 11th consecutive year, reflecting the company’s long-term commitment to the Egyptian market and its rapid growth across Africa and the Middle East.
Q: Welcome back to Egypt. This is ManageEngine’s 11th year at Cairo ICT. What keeps bringing you back?
A: “Cairo ICT is the premier tech event in Egypt, and we are delighted to be back for the 11th year. Egypt is our most important market in the Middle East and North Africa, and also our fastest-growing market in Africa.”
He revealed that ManageEngine has been recording 40% year-on-year growth for three consecutive years in Egypt.
“The event allows us to meet IT managers, understand their needs and priorities, and explore their vision for digital transformation. Every year, the interactions become richer, and this year is no exception.”
Q: Cyberattacks are rising sharply in the Middle East. What are the main threats you see, and how does ManageEngine help companies protect themselves?
A: “Cyberattacks continue to increase as digitalization expands — that’s the reality. At ManageEngine, we have developed AI-driven enterprise IT management products that help organizations protect their systems, data, and users.”
Srinivasan highlighted major enhancements in the company’s AI-powered SIEM platform, including advanced threat detection and user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA).
“What used to be a tool has now become a full platform, thanks to AI. Our endpoint security solutions also strengthen the digital user experience, ensure compliance, and secure the entire environment.”
He emphasized that cybersecurity is among ManageEngine’s fastest-growing domains in Egypt and the region.
Q: You are showcasing more than 60 IT management products at Cairo ICT. Which solutions are most in demand in Egypt today?
A: “Yes, we are showcasing over 60 products. One of our strengths is that these products are natively integrated, providing end-to-end IT management on a unified platform.”
He noted that Egyptian organizations are increasingly demanding platform-based IT ecosystems, rather than separate standalone tools.
“Endpoint management is now a platform by itself, and IT security is another. Our customers want integrated solutions that support their entire IT lifecycle, improve efficiency, and reduce complexity.”
Q: How can ManageEngine help organizations enhance their digital security and overall digital workplace experience?
A: “With our recent updates to the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform, we now focus heavily on the digital user experience. As companies expand their digital infrastructure, securing both systems and people becomes essential.”
He stressed that digital transformation must be matched with strong digital protection.
“It’s not only the devices that need to be secure — people must be secure too. Our AI-driven capabilities help organizations build a safe, compliant, and user-friendly digital workplace.”
