International Media Highlights Presidents Sisi and Macron's Inauguration of Senghor University

Reuters news agency highlighted President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's meeting with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, on Saturday in New Borg El Arab City, Alexandria.

The two presidents held talks covering bilateral relations and key regional and international issues. They also oversaw the inauguration of the new campus of Senghor University in Egypt.

The agency noted that the two presidents later participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new campus of Senghor University in New Borg El Arab City. The university is an educational institution affiliated with the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF). Also present were Nestor Ntahuntwe, Prime Minister of Burundi; Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of the OIF; and Cheikh Niang, Foreign Minister of Senegal.

The Independent Arabia newspaper also highlighted President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's inauguration, along with his French counterpart Macron, of the new campus of the Francophone Senghor University in Borg El Arab, west of Alexandria, on Saturday.
