A delegation from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, toured the studios of the Sada El-Balad channel today, on the sidelines of the Silver Jubilee Conference of the Faculty entitled “Media Industry in the Light of Opportunities and Technological and Investment Challenges.”
The delegation included students and a number of Egyptian and Arab researchers, headed by Dr. Wissam Al-Zu’bi, a researcher in public relations and digital advertising at Yarmouk University in Jordan, and Dr. Mohammad Nimer Bakr, representative of Al-Najah National University in Palestine.
During the tour, visitors inspected the television studios and learned about news broadcasting. They also checked out the editing and production-control rooms.
Participants praised the technological level of the studios and equipment used, noting that the Sada El-Balad channel network is one of the first media platforms that viewers watch most and media students always choose it to conduct their graduate research.
“Sada Al-Balad is important because it is one of the platforms that I worked while preparing my research thesis,” Bakr said.
The conference is sponsored by the Sada El-Balad TV network and is organized under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Osman El-Khasht, head of Cairo University, and Dr. Heba El Samary, Dean of the faculty.
