International Cadet Ball Marks 10th Anniversary in Moscow

Moscow has hosted the tenth International Kremlin Charity Cadet Ball, a cultural highlight that brought together thousands of young participants from across the globe at the historic Gostiny Dvor venue, TV BRICS reported in a video feature on the event. 

The anniversary ball attracted more than 3,400 cadets, students, and youth delegates representing over 60 countries, including India, Brazil, Egypt, Iran, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and a wide range of African nations. The large-scale celebration marked a continuation of a tradition that blends diplomatic engagement with youth cultural exchange. 

Rehearsals for the event took place over several months, culminating in a display of classical ballroom dancing and cultural performances. The Cadet Ball is designed to revive historical traditions while reinforcing international ties and fostering mutual understanding among young leaders from diverse backgrounds. 

The ball is traditionally supported by the Russian presidency, and this year’s event once again underscored its diplomatic and cultural significance. Delegates experienced not only dance and ceremonial presentations but also the broader cultural milieu of Moscow, reflecting the event’s role as both a social and intercultural platform.

Participants, many of whom were attending such an international event for the first time, described the experience as inspiring and memorable, highlighting the unique opportunity to engage with peers from around the world and to explore Russia’s historic capital.
