An Israeli airstrike in Gaza resulted in the deaths of 31 people on Sunday, as reported by the Palestinian Civil Defense Agency.
This incident occurred while US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was visiting for discussions regarding the ongoing conflict and potential post-war scenarios.
According to Gaza's civil defense agency, the most recent aerial bombardment overnight resulted in 31 fatalities and 20 injuries in a family home located in the central Nuseirat refugee camp.
The wounded included several children, and rescuers were searching the rubble for missing people, said the Palestinian official news agency Wafa. Meanwhile, the Israeli army stated that it was checking the reports.
Notably, Israel has imposed a siege on the Gaza Strip's 2.4 million people, depriving them of normal access to clean water, food, medicines, and fuel. The suffering is eased only by sporadic aid shipments by land, air, and sea.
