Prabowo Subianto, President-elect of Indonesia and Chairman-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party, began a 3-day official visit to Beijing, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
President Xi will hold talks with indonesian President, where they will exchange views on bilateral relations and issues of common concern, according to China International Television Network (CGTN).
The network indicated that President Subianto's visit to China reflects the importance of Chinese-Indonesian relations.
For his part, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman stated that this visit is expected to strengthen the friendship between the two countries and deepen their strategic cooperation.
