Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed in a tweet on Tuesday the current visit of Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to India as "historic" and a "matter of immense happiness for all Indians."
Modi added that he looks forward to holding discussions with El-Sisi on Wednesday.
El-Sisi arrived today in New Delhi at Modi's invitation to participate as chief guest at celebrations of India's Republic Day on Thursday.
