The U.S. city of Indianapolis police said that a second person was killed during violence unrests in the city center, which started on Saturday and extended until Sunday morning.
One person was killed late on Saturday and the second at on Sunday morning, but the city police confirmed that its personnel were not involved in the killing of either of them.
Police spokesman Michael Hewitt said the cause of these deaths was not immediately clear.
"There is no way to link these deaths, at the present time, to any kind of protests or anything. We do not know whether they are separate incidents or what they are," he added.
Other local media platforms said that three persons were killed not only two.

The protests turned into violent acts for the second consecutive night in Indianapolis, where the windows of several buildings were broken.
Inpiduals also stormed and looted a number of some stores, prompting the police to fire tear gas grenades.
On his part, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett announced Sunday that he will sign an executive order instituting a countywide curfew and red travel warnings following says of unrest in the city, according to local media in the city.

"Cities across the country have become hosts to both peaceful protests and riots in the wake of the May 25 police-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. In Indianapolis, the community is still reeling from the May 6 officer-involved shooting death of Dreasjon Reed, who police said led officers on a chase and fired a gun," the Indystar website reported.
The curfew will be effective from 8 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday, with exceptions to those traveling directly to and from their place of work, for essential medical care, public safety personnel, essential government activities and journalists.
Moreover, local newspapers said that the police arrested 56 people this weekend.
During a press conference Sunday afternoon, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department leadership announced two people were killed and several others injured in shootings Saturday night and Sunday morning. Police arrested 29 people Saturday night and Sunday morning, in addition to 27 on Friday night and Saturday morning.
