Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, General Upendra Dwivedi, is on an official visit to Algeria next week.
The Indian Army Command said in a statement reported by the Indian news agency ANI News on Friday that the Chief of Staff is expected to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the Indian and Algerian militaries during the visit, and expand the scope of exchanges in the field of training and capacity development.
The statement indicated that during the visit, views will be exchanged on regional and international security challenges.
