India Issues Booklet in Arabic Highlighting Egypt's Participation in G20 Summit

On the occasion of India's presidency of the G20, a booklet was issued in Arabic that includes the official agenda of India's presidency of the G20, whose summit will be held in the Indian capital, Delhi, on September 9-10, 2023.

 The booklet includes a special chapter on the importance of Egyptian participation in the G20 summit, given the depth of historical relations that bind it. Between the two countries, where the roots of those diplomatic and political relations extend to the friendship that linked each of the leaders Saad Zaghloul and Mahatma Gandhi, passing through historical friendship relations that linked the peoples of the two countries and the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser, and the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, which led to the rapprochement between the two leaderships to the signing of an agreement of friendship Between the two countries in 1955 when the leadership of the two countries had a prominent and influential role in the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement in the sixties to the present time, during which those relations were strengthened. Since President El-Sisi came to power, and the bilateral relations between the two countries were raised to the level of Strategic partnership.

The booklet also includes a chapter on The Summit of the Global Voice of the South for developing countries, which represent 75% of the world's population, and the ministerial meeting of the G20 ministers in New Delhi.

 Finally the booklet included the challenges that India faces during its presidency of the G-20 in light of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis, and India's firm position, which motivates both parties to sit together at the negotiating table to end the conflict between them peacefully.
