India Detects 6 New COVID-19 Strain Cases

India announced on Tuesday that the country detected six new COVID-19 strain cases. All detected cases have recently arrived from the UK through the past few weeks.

According to an official statement of the Indian Ministry of Health, the six cases are now isolated, moreover, the ministry is working on marking the cases' flight passengers. The statement added that the closest people to the cases are now quarantined.

Almost 33 thousand travels arrived from the UK to India through the final days of November, before the Indian pan for UK travelers until the end of December after the spread of the newly found COVID-19 strain.

In the same context, the medical tests showed that 114 COVID-19 were found among those who came back to India from the UK and their samples will undergo New COVID-19 strain tests.

It's worthy to mention that India is the second country that has the biggest number of COVID-19 around the world as it recorded 10.22 million cases till now.

Moreover, the Ministry of Health announced recording new 16432 COVID-19 cases which is the lowest daily COVID-19 cases since 25th June.
