Indian authorities announced Thursday that at least six schools in the capital, New Delhi, had received email threats claiming that bombs were inside.
Indian channel NDTV reported in its English-language broadcast that police, firefighters, and bomb disposal teams were dispatched to inspect school buildings, but no suspicious objects were found.
Several schools, hotels and other establishments across India had received bomb threat messages, which were later proven false.
