Delhi has been hit by a dense fog sine the early hours of Thursday, NDTV reported.

Large parts of the national capital were blanketed by a dense layer of fog, significantly reducing visibility and causing discomfort for residents. As per the latest travel updates, 22 flights have been cancelled at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport so far, and over 80 flights are running behind schedule. Earlier, the airport said in an advisory that all flight operations had returned to normalcy.

Passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates," the advisory said. At around 8.10 am, the airport said that flight operations were under the CAT III conditions, which might have led to delays or disruptions.

And in the early hours of Thursday, airport authorities warned that Low Visibility Procedures (LVPs) were in force even as flight operations continued normally.
