The US authorities confirmed that law enforcement agencies in Iowa State arrested a heavily armed man, who said he was heading to Washington, DC, with the aim of killing senior officials in the country, led by President Joe Biden.
Today, Thursday, the NBC network quoted data from the Potawatomi County Prosecutor's Office confirming that the man named Quachoa Brillion Son (a 25-year-old California store employee) was arrested in the county and has been in the local jail since Tuesday.
U.S. Secret Service agent Justin Larsen said in a criminal complaint that was released with other court filings yesterday, Wednesday, that Son was arrested December 21 in Cass County, in possession of an AR-15 military rifle, several bullets, and medical parts.
Larsen noted that Son began his trip to Washington on December 18 from his home near Sacramento, California, in order to "go directly to the White House to kill people in power."
The lawsuit acknowledged that Son identified the White House as the destination of his trip in an electronic map.
The authorities confirmed that Son admitted during his interrogations that “a list of evil personalities” he intends to kill includes the sitting and former presidents Biden and former Barack Obama, and the director of the US National Institute of Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci, in addition to the director of “Meta” (formerly Facebook) Mark Zuckerberg.
Agent Larsen noted that Son showed investigators a drawing of the White House complex with a supposed "weak spot" that the detainee identified during his preparations for the attack.
The lawsuit quoted Son as saying that if released, he does not intend to return to his family in California, but rather intends to continue his journey to Washington immediately and "do whatever is necessary to complete the implementation of his plan" to "pass his life while fighting what he called evil demons in the White House."
