President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro Moros and his family paid a visit to the Pyramids ahead of the COP27, which will be held in Egypt during 6-18 November 2022.
Ashraf Mohieldin, Director General of the Pyramid District, welcomed the guests and accompanied them on a tour around the area.
This follows a number of official visits to various Egyptian archaeological sites and museums in Cairo over the past two days ahead of the COP27 summit.
The president also visited the Great Pyramid, the panorama area, and the Sphinx. They expressed their great happiness with the Egyptian civilization.
The COP27 summit kicked off in Egypt on Sunday and will take place in Sharm El Sheikh during 6-18 November 2022.
More than 40,000 delegates will attend the event, including key political figures such as U.S. President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and Britain's new prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
