President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was convened with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Sunday to follow up on work progress in the development of unplanned districts in Greater Cairo, including slum and old historical areas.

The President also stressed the need to exert intensive efforts to develop old historical areas in Cairo, so as to highlight its status as a cultural and touristic center, in harmony and integration with efforts to expand in new urban communities which are currently being implemented nationwide.
