Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, an Egyptian ship, loaded with humanitarian aid, left the port of Damietta to Lebanon on Friday.

Nader Saad, the spokesperson for the Presidency of Egypt's Council of Ministers, stated that the ship carries 487.5 tons of aid, including 122 tons of food items, 265.5 tons of medicines and medical supplies, and 100 tons of relief materials.

On February 3, Egypt sent medical and humanitarian aid to Lebanon under the directives of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine El-Qabbage directed the Red Crescent to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon in accordance with Misr El Khair Foundation, Resala Association, Food Bank, and Clothing Bank.

El-Qabbage asserted that the Ministry of Social Solidarity has succeeded in providing urgent aid to Lebanon, which includes 100 tons of relief and food materials (blankets/mattresses/food items) and 250 tons of medical supplies (masks/medicines).
