In Photos: UAE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed's Funeral

On Friday, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi, headed the funeral prayer for Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed, the President of the UAE, at the Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

The late president was laid to rest at Al Bateen Cemetery in Abu Dhabi.

It's worthy to mention that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has declared three days of mourning in Egypt following the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, who passed away on Friday.

The official three-day period of national mourning starts today, Friday, May 13, 2022, and ends at sunset on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
