Ministry of State for Migration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad organized a camp in Sharm El Sheikh Resort for 110  children of Egyptian expatriates. Their colleagues from many countries including USA, Kuwait, Canada, Saudi Arabia and others participated in the event..

This camp represents a continuation of the ministry’s efforts to communicate with Egyptian expatriates at all ages and places, following the success of the first conference for expat entities.

The Ministry of Immigration praised the children participating in the camp saying:” You are the hope for the future as you can participate in shaping it.” Egypt is always proud of its people at home and abroad."

The Ministry also confirmed that the number of the participants is expanding from a camp to another, which emphasizes the success of the camp.

“Egypt has many charming areas and travel destinations,” the ministry noted, adding that the meetings with the children of the fourth and fifth generations come while children of Egyptian expatriates and their friends from 6 foreign countries participate, for the first time, in that camp, launched under the slogan of “Come With a Friend”.

This aims to promote Egypt's travel attractions, its picturesque nature, security and safety throughout the country, so that those children can convey a clear image about Egypt.

During the current camp, the participants come from different countries. Hence, this guarantees the exchange of experiences and cultures, as well as emphasizing the Egyptian identity in each country.

Earlier, a number of camps for children of Egyptian expatriates was launched under the auspices of the migration ministry to link them to their homeland, in the framework the ministry’s "speak Egyptian dialect " initiative to urge the children to speak Egyptian dialect.
