Celine Alar, Head of International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Egypt, said that Cairo should implement more structural reforms to the national economy to increase the partnership of the private sector.

She affirmed that such a partnership bolsters opportunities of economic development.

She urges Egypt to continue the present levels of economic subsidies.

Celine Alar also affirmed that Egypt is on its way to restoring rates of growth as those achieved in the pre-pandemic time.

She indicated that despite the increase in allotments of health and tourism, as shown, in the public budget of 2021-2022, improvement in the deficit of the budget is expected.
