IMF Raises Egypt's Economic Growth in 2025

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) raised, Tuesday, its growth forecast for the Egyptian economy to 4.4% in 2025 from 3% in 2024.

In the Global Growth Prospects report issued today, the Fund expected that the inflation rate would decline to 25.7% in 2025.

Earlier, Hala El-Saed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, said in a previous statement that the economic and social development plan for the fiscal year 2024/25 aims for the growth rate to reach 4.2%.

El- Saed is participating in the annual spring meetings of the World Bank and the IMF, which are being held during the period from April 15 to 20 in Washington, with the participation of delegations and representatives of various countries.
