Director General of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva confirmed that the fund will continue to provide all support to Egypt to complete its successful economic reform, and that communication is currently underway with the Egyptian team to coordinate on the new programme for Egypt, which aims to support the structural reforms of the economy.

Maait added that Egypt is looking forward to the IMF's continued support for the Egyptian economy to overcome the current global crisis; in line with the positive cooperation that culminated in a comprehensive and successful national programme for economic reform.
