Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied, on Saturday, Russian claims that he fled to Poland amid war in his country.
Zelenskyy released a video, in which he appeared to be standing in his office along with another Kyiv official, on his Instagram with the caption: "I am in Kyiv. I am working here. Nobody has escaped."

Russian-state-owned media Sputnik quoted Russian State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin as saying, "Zelensky left Ukraine. Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada said that they could not get to him in Lviv. He is now in Poland."
Earlier, the Ukrainian Parliament had also countered the claim as "fake news" peddled by the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian President has previously vowed to stay in Kyiv amid Russia’s severe attacks to fully take control of the country, asserting that his family is also in Ukraine.
“(The) enemy has marked me down as the number one target,” he warned. “My family is the number two target. They want to destroy Ukraine politically by destroying the head of state.”
