Under Israeli police protection, a mob of illegal Israeli settlers stormed Al-Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem and conducted Talmudic prayers, according to The Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA).
WAFA cited eyewitness accounts stating that "settlers entered the mosque in groups, while the occupation police transformed the old city into a military zone, deploying hundreds of officers in close proximity, particularly at the entrances of Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Furthermore, it was noted that the police intensified their military presence at the mosque's gates and throughout the old city, imposing restrictions on the access of worshipers.
