The Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) has released a series of videos from the Rafah Border Crossing, documenting Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people in Gaza with thousands of tons of humanitarian aid.

According to the center, Khaled Mojawer, Governor of North Sinai, emphasized that Egypt has consistently supported Arab causes since 1948.

He highlighted that all sectors of the Egyptian government are operating under a meticulously planned strategy to assist their Palestinian brothers during this crisis.

Mojawer also noted that hundreds of aid trucks enter Gaza daily, with provisions in place to increase the number as needed.

He stressed that Egypt’s assistance extends beyond delivering aid shipments, as the country is also prepared to receive injured Palestinians for medical treatment.

Truck drivers transporting aid to Gaza expressed their joy at the ceasefire, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring the relief supplies reach those in need.

Meanwhile, medical convoy officials at the Rafah crossings told IDSC that between 300 and 350 aid trucks cross into Gaza each day, carrying essential medicines and food supplies. The Egyptian Ministry of Health, the Egyptian Red Crescent, and the Egyptian Ambulance Authority are maintaining a high state of readiness at the border in anticipation of receiving wounded Palestinians once they are permitted entry into Egypt.

From Al-Asmarat neighborhood in Cairo, the Cabinet Information Center also documented preparations for medical convoys before their departure to Rafah.

Hesham Khalifa, Head of Projects at the Tahya Misr Fund, confirmed that the fund has launched its sixth and largest aid convoy for Gaza, carrying more than 4,200 tons of humanitarian assistance.

On his part, Dr. Amal Imam, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent, highlighted the organization's extensive efforts in collaboration with the Tahya Misr Fund to ensure that life-saving aid reaches the people of Gaza.

Egypt’s continued efforts demonstrate its unwavering commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, reinforcing its historic role in supporting the Palestinian people.
