Iconic Tower: New Landmark in Egypt's Desert

On Tuesday, Xinhua shed light on the improvement of the Skyscrapers of the CBD project in the New Administrative Capital, including the Iconic Tower.

Mohamed El Tantawi, Senior Civil Engineer in the Iconic Tower project, said that the transformation of the site is like a miracle. 

He explained that the site was only sand, but, now, there are dozens of construction areas done, and the site started to see more activity as various people came and looked at the achievement of the CBD project in the New Administrative Capital.

About his work with the Chinese Engineers, he said that he found it easy to cooperate with them and they continued to work daily.

El Tantawi added that he gained a huge experience after working on such a project as it was one of the mega projects in Egypt, highlighting that the project provided more than 10,000 jobs.

The project also witnessed the use of new technologies for the establishment and construction which they are now applied for other projects in Egypt.

El Tantawi concluded that this project will motivate more investors to invest in Egypt.
