Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has extended his stay at AC Milan for another season.
Ibrahimovic, who turns 41 in October, found the back of the net on 8 occasions last season as Milan claimed the last Serie A title. He suffered from knee surgery in May and will be out of squad for eight months.
Ibrahimovic revealed at the end of the campaign that he had "barely slept for six months because of the pain," according to BBC.
The former Barcelona forward joined the Italian champions in 2020, guiding them to clinch the first title since 2009. Real Betis captain Joaquin, who turns 41 on 21 July, also recently extended his contract with the La Liga club, which means that he is not the only player, playing for a club after turning 41.
