Dr. Amal Ibrahim, president of the Arab Women's Festival for Creativity, received “Lady of the Year” title for 2019 from Cambridge University.
This honoring took place during a graduation ceremony held yesterday for doctoral and master's degrees for researchers in the Middle East and Africa.
Ibrahim was honored for her big role in empowering Arab women in the sphere of human rights and social life.

She launched a number of successful and effective initiatives like “Cairo without female debtors”, “homeland’ sons to support orphans” and she was nominated for "Hope Makers" prize in UAE.
It's remarkable that the ceremony was attended by a number of princes, ministers and ambassadors who had major scientific, economic, cultural and social impacts in their countries.
Maj. Gen. Khaled Fouda, governor of the south Sinai, Hassan Rateb, renowned businessman and chairman of Al Mehwar satellite channels and Princess Hind bint Abdulrahman Al-Saud were among the attendees.
