Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, suggested that Iran could begin producing enriched uranium “within months,” despite the damage sustained by its nuclear facilities following U.S. and Israeli attacks, according to remarks made to CBS News.

Grossi added that Iran could potentially operate several centrifuge cascades for enriched uranium production within that timeframe.

Regarding speculation over whether Iran managed to transfer some or all of its estimated 408 kilograms of highly enriched uranium before the strikes, Grossi stated that he does not know where the material might currently be located.
