The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has confirmed that progress has been made between Iran and the agency on certain matters.
During a press conference in New York on Tuesday, Grossi stated that a report on the status of Iran's nuclear program will be published shortly. He noted that while the parties are making headway on some issues, they are not making progress on others.
This announcement was made a few days before the IAEA Board of Governors' quarterly meeting in Vienna. Earlier on the same day, sources reported that Iran and the UN nuclear watchdog had resolved two significant concerns related to Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.
