Hussain Al Jassmi’s “Bel Bont el Areed” Hits 100 Mln YouTube Views

Emirati megastar Hussain Al Jassmi’s latest song “Bel Bont el Areed” (With the Bold Font) has achieved tremendous success by earning 102 million views in less than a month on YouTube.

The Egyptian dialect song had gained widespread popularity since its release on August 15, which featured Al Jassmi using his typical Kurd-scale maqsoum.

“Bel Bont Elareed” is by the lyrics of Ayman Bahgat Kamar and composed by the singer.

This is not the first time for a song for Al Jassmi to achieve this tremendous success. The Emirati megastar 2014's smash hit “Boshret Kheir” has over 445 million YouTube views up to today.

It is worth mentioning that Al Jassmi, born in Khorfakkan on August 25, 1979, is an Emirati singer, compositor, musician, and pianist who is one of the most active and successful singers in the Arab region.

He released his first single "Bawadaak" followed by "Wallah Mayiswa", and "Bassbour Al Fourgakom".

In 2008, Al Jassmi received the Murex d'Or award, under the category of "Best Arabic Male Singer."

The Emirati singer has performed at multiple events and concerts in Egypt, UAE, KSA, Kuwait, and elsewhere in the Middle East.

In 2018, Al Jassmi performed at the Vatican's annual Christmas concert, becoming the first Arab to do so.

 

Also, he performed many poems written by sheikhs, princes, and most famous Arab poets including, UAE late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Jassmi formed his unique modern music, which is reflected in a unique musical vision via distinguished melodies, songs, and composing, as well as highlighted his talents as a musician and established him as one of the best performing stars in the Emirati and Arab content.

In April, the Emirati singer was the only Arab chosen to partake in the global star-studded cast “One World Together At Home” mega-event, where he represented the Arab world from his home in the UAE.

The event took place on April 18 featuring many appearances and entertainers including, Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Awkwafina, Camila Cabello, Céline Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Usher, Victoria Beckham, among others.

The “One World Together At Home” mega-event had been organized by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and by “advocacy group Global Citizen”, and curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga.
