A few hours, hurricane Milton's power was enhanced to be up once again to Category 5 storm as it coming closer Florida's Gulf Coast, which is still trying to recover from Helene's impact.

The storm's winds strengthened to 165 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

ET described the storm "life-threatening storm surge and winds" for "portions of the Florida Gulf Coast."

"Fluctuations in intensity are likely while Milton moves across the eastern Gulf of Mexico," the National Hurricane Center said in its update, "but Milton is expected to be a dangerous major hurricane when it reaches the west-central coast of Florida."

The center of the storm is expected to be in Tampa area late today or in the early morning of tomorrow.
