In the month of July, the cities of Hurghada and Marsa Alam witnessed an unprecedented tourism boom, with over 21,000 visitors, a level that had not been reached in months.
Hotels in the Red Sea area reported a general 80-85% occupancy rate with tourists from 18 different nationalities.
Marsa Alam International Airport is expecting 25 international flights today, bringing in approximately 5,000 tourists from countries such as the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Italy, Austria, and Belgium.
Today, Hurghada International Airport anticipates the arrival of 16,000 tourists on 82 international flights.
The hotels in Hurghada are also seeing an increase in tourists, including many Egyptians who are on summer vacations.
This surge in tourism is viewed as a positive sign for Egypt's tourism sector and is expected to have a beneficial impact on the local economy, potentially leading to the creation of more job opportunities.
